What is the Purpose?
The purpose of the Costa Rica Tech Trade Mission is to provide an excellent opportunity to further the business development between the high technology companies of Florida and Costa Rica. Explore Costa Rica!
The participants will include 65 national IT companies, and 90 international companies from United States, India, Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Guatemala, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Jamaica, Honduras, Czech Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, and Chile; with over 2,000 business meetings!
How?
The American Embassy industry professionals of the US Commerce Department will provide a commercial briefing, public affairs briefing and economic briefing, as well as an overview of doing business in Costa Rica on day one for all participating Florida firms.
This will also be accomplished by providing 3 days (total) of intensive programs designed to introduce the participating delegates (you) to your tech counterparts in Costa Rica, as well as other key government and industry dignitaries that may be helpful in your business development objectives. Day one will be about strategic partnerships and/or selling, day two and three about strategic partnerships and/or buying. The last two days will be at the PROCOMER tech trade show.

The programs will be conducted at the American Embassy and the exclusive
Real InterContinental Hotel & Tower Club in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Who Should Participate?
The participating delegates will be business executives representing Central Florida Technology companies; and Florida Economic Development Agencies (as supporters and sponsors).
During this Trade Mission, Costa Rica will be the platform for the establishment of new businesses in the digital technologies sector, bringing together participants from North, Central and South America, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia, transforming the country into a truly B2B landmark event. This is definitely the opportunity to meet, network and negotiate with potential IT partners from around the world and learn about current global trends on this dynamic industry.
This event combines business meetings and conferences about the current worldwide trends on digital technologies.
